Behind Weed.de is entrepreneur and venture capitalist Justin Hartfield, a well-known figure in the cannabis scene. As co-founder of WeedMaps in 2008, he has already made history in the cannabis sector in America and has now set himself the goal of making cannabis more safely accessible in Germany and Europe. Justin’s extensive experience and his commitment to transparency, innovation and building communities in the cannabis industry form the foundation of our online platform Weed.de.

Richard Cowan
Born in Texas in 1940, he is a graduate of Yale University and has been deeply rooted in the marijuana law reform movement from the beginning. His breakthrough came in 1972 when his article advocating for marijuana legalization was published in the National Review. He later served as CEO of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws from 1992 to 1995. In 1997, he started one of the first blogs, MarijuanaNews.com. With numerous public appearances and his informed advocacy for cannabis legalization, his dedication fits perfectly with Weed.de’s mission: promoting transparency, innovation and community in the cannabis industry.
